On June 30, 2004, our friend and brother, Jeffrey Roome, died suddenly at the young age of 35. Jeff loved snowboarding as well as ice skating and was a passionate fan of our beloved Boston sports teams. Jeff also loved the children in his life, whether it was his nephew or the children of his many friends who knew Jeff as their uncle. He was always there for them in a loving, caring, and fun-filled manner.
In tribute to his memory, his friends and family formed The Jeff Roome Sports Foundation. The goal of our organization is to benefit athletic and sporting activities for children in the Hudson, NH area. Our sincere hope is that we can make a difference by being available to fund the needs of individuals and teams when other resources are lacking. Whether it is for equipment, transportation, sponsorships, or other associated needs, The Jeff Roome Sports Foundation wants to be ready and available to help!

In the short time our oganization has been in operation, we have provided needed funds to various organizations, including:
- Alvrine High School Ice Hockey
- Hudson United Soccer
- Hudson Youth Baseball
- Hudson Special Olympics
- St. Vincent de Paul's holiday sports baskets
- Hills Garrison PTO- Ski Program
- Nashua YMCA
- Additional donations to children lacking the needed funding for equipment, registration fees and the like.

J.R.S.F. Supports Nashua's Legacy Playground!
The Jeff Roome Sports Foundation will make a $20,000 donation to Nashua's universally accessible play area named the Legacy Playground.
